For forty years Carvèll lingerie & swimwear, previously Mystique, occupied the ground floor of Abbotts House, an iconic Tudor townhouse built in 1459.
In 2024, Carvèll lingerie & swimwear joined its sister brand in The Square. Though the location has changed, the ethos of the brand remains; to offer an incredible fitting experience in a relaxed yet professional environment, ensuring our customers leave feeling amazing in their own skin.
Previously a primary school teacher, I became the new owner in April 2019. When the opportunity arose to buy the shop, I was excited, having been a regular customer for many years. I had always dreamed of being my own boss and owning a lingerie business, and the dream came true. Fashion and design have always been a big focus in my life
